Meet Me in the Margins
This was the first book that I have read by Melissa Ferguson, and it did not disappoint! Ferguson wrote a story that is clean, laugh-out-loud funny, and has a unique storyline that I have never seen before. It's not your typical boy-meets-girl rom-com.
Savannah Cade, an assistant acquisitions editor, has the dream of becoming an author herself. The only thing standing in her way is a six-week deadline to rewrite her whole manuscript, figuring out who is leaving notes in the margins of her manuscript, and keeping her job at the publishing house with a strict no romance rule.
There is a wonderfully hilarious cast of characters that accompany Savannah and add lots of humor and side stories to the book. The story is told from Savannah's point of view so throughout the book, you can see what she is thinking, which adds another humorous and very relatable aspect to the story.
P.S. Meet Me in the Margins was just turned into a movie on PureFlix and Great American Family, so, if you love it as much as I think you will, you can check out the movie after and see which one was better. (The book is always better, though...right?)
