On my search to find new and fresh titles for the bookshelves of the store, I stumbled upon Dee Henderson, and she quickly tied with Linda J. White for first place on my favorite authors list. Full Disclosure is the first in a three-book series that brings unconventional love stories to live.
A suspicious death is what brings them together. Paul Falcon first meets Ann Silver as she strolls into his office and drops a murder investigation on his desk. He is instantly intrigued by this mystery women who never stays in one spot for very long. Not only is Ann well known in their field of work for her incredible investigation work, but she also has a second job that he doesn't see coming. Ann keeps Paul on his toes, and she tries to win over the women who has quickly stolen his heart, but at every turn there is something new to learn about this woman. Not to mention that she doesn't think she was meant to be a wife.
Dee Henderson's superpower is how well she crafts her character and storylines. Her stories take twists and turns that no one sees coming, but that makes the story that much better, and her characters have so much depth to them that you feel like you know them in real life. I have been sucked into all of her books, and I guarantee you will be too!
