Linda J. White's newest release may just be her best one yet. In book eight of her canine search and rescue series, you are told a riveting story of mystery, intrigue, and suspense that is clean and the Gospel is interwoven.
White's use of writing each chapter from a different character in the story, whether it be mother, S&R handler, PI, and wife Jessica Cooper or Amanda who seems to have finally figured out her grove in life, allows for more detail from each side of the story and keeps you on your toes as you read. It also seamlessly her to tell two stories at once.
Most importantly, White share her faith with her readers through her books. Each main character in her book is at a different stage in their walk with the Lord and whether they are facing the everyday tasks or life-threatening situations, White shows the struggles they are going through, the doubts and questions they have, and how each experience is growing their faith.
If you have never read this series before, it is one my favorites (yes, I have numerous favorites) and I highly recommend it!
